weekends' disadvantage...

i am just so bored right now...there are so few people online at yahoo mseenger right now...and the online ones are just so senseless to talk to...one of them even forced me to receive the file he's sending which is a somehwt of a program that will make you feel horrible...when i opened it, there appeared like so many errors and reminders and my heart just pumped so hard...anyways...i am currently fascinated by the song entitled "They" by Jem...i have known it for mothns but it is just now that i have been playing it for like all the time. the lyrics are realy good...it's like about how some people tend to be possessive of us and a dictator that just limits our freedom....hayley westenra is also giving me the smiles...her voice is just so angelic..and that "What You Never Know" song is really lovely showing off her angelic voice....i am just so bored right now..probably one of the disadvantages of a weekend...

And it's ironic too
Coz what we tend to do
Is act on what they sayand then it is that way....
~"They" by Jem

at last...

wheeew...at last, the finals for the first trimester is over...although i cannot say that i am relieved...somehow i am but i am quite disappointed with my performamance during the tests especially in chemistry and english and also quite in electronics...i would really hate talking about them right now...it just makes me want to scream...anyways, one good thing, to take all the tensions off ourslelves there was a concert of a local band in school which, although i did not enjoy it that much, can be considered appreciated...i just hope that i will be satisfied with the results of my first trimestral finals...

There's no such thing as coincidence?

i saw this posted somewhere...and i just don't know if i must believe it...but is this some kind of a prophecy?...

THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS COINCIDENCE:

1. Open up a blank Word document.

2. Type in Q33 NY in capitals(this is the flight number of the 1st plane to hitthe WTC)(world trade center)

3. Highlight it.

4.Change the font size to 48.

5. Change the actual font to wingdings (1).

*if this worked for you pass it on.... try it.

sigh..what a hectic day i had...i had tests all day long...and what i mean is that i had 6 subjects today and 5 out of those had either a quiz or a summative test for the semester...sigh...good thing that chemistry subject didn't join the rage...lol...

to miss rosita...

a neighbour of mine just died the other day...she is miss rosita...she is quite old...i guess she didn't have a time to look for a husband in her youth because she was too much focused on her job...but miss rosita is a very good old woman...there was one time when i would go to school through commuting everyday...that was sometime in my elementary i guess...and dear miss rosita would always be just outside her house taking good care of her beautiful blooming plants...when i pass by her, she would always greet me a good morning and ask how my life is...and i wuold answer it's ok...somehow, she infects me with the smile on her face each morning...i actually commuted on the day she died...and what was unusual that morning was that there was no miss rosita greeting me a good morning...little did i know, miss rosita was already not feeling well at those times...i just got the news of her death when i got back home in the afternoon...

now, if ever i would commute in the morning,  there would no longer be a miss rosita with a gleaming smile on her face greeting me a good morning...i just hope she is somewhere with the angels, the saints, and God right now...i'll be praying for you miss rosita..."in pace requiescat..."

the electronic tragedy...

so i was talking about my electronics project the other day...i guessthe design my other friend did was okay...it did look like a fashion runway...and there were seats at the sides lol...it's all black...and i quite like it...like a fashion show for a gothic inspired collection...but something actually no expected happened...the circuits are okay...but five of the six bulbs did not work...a classmate of mine who is not my group mate in that project played with it and on'ed and offed it too much causing the bulbs to stop working...sigh...what we just did was submitted it and explained what happened and promised to put the bulbs in their respective bulb receptacles tomorrow...

antm has a new season...

so, america's next top model has a new season...it's the fifth installment on the coninuing search for america's top model...after naima's voctiry last season, a new set of girls will be vying for the title of america's next top model...when i saw the picture of the girls..i instantly noticed kim..

.
season five's kim

so, you know what instantly focused my eyes on kim? he looks like a boy in this picture...but i guess he doesn't or she rather doesn't look like one in real life on rin the coverage...maybe just in this picture...

there are also some girls in this season that look a bit like some of the girls in the past seasons...ashley looks a bit like season three's nicole without the platinum red hair...jayla looks a bit like season three's norelle too...kyle looks a bit like season three's cassie...ebony looks a bit like season four's brandy...and sarah looks a bit like season four's brita...oh and lisa somehow looks like season three's magdalena...

one girl in this season bothers me though...coryn looks like a GAY!..lol...and there's also one thing...the legendary janice dickinson will not be a judge in this season anymore...janice is known to be a quite sword-tongued judge but she surely has some points...so i guess au revoir for a while janice...a retired british supermodel named twiggy will be taking her place...we'll just see if ms. twiggy has her sharp tongue too...lol

visit the antm season five site here:

sigh, electronics...

sigh...i went to a friend's house today...we needed to finish the electronics project that day...it was to design a circuit containing six loads, using at least three types of bulbs and using only one power source...we did finish the circuits today...but what we didn't finish the designs...i guess our group's design was quite ambitious...it was a fashion runway...good thing i wasn't assigned or tasked to make the all messy circuits look like a catwalk...lol...but so far, i guess the project is going great...we did finish it quickly i guess...probably because there were three of us working on it...plus two working on the design...lol...i just hope my group gets a good grade in it...

Me? a romantic?

i got this from diana's tabulas...i got  six...

BIRTHDATES...determines who you are (as what they say). just for fun try this...

FINDING YOUR BIRTH NUMBER: ex: May. 9, 1990 ---> 5+9+1990=2004 ---> 2+0+0+4=6 ---> 6 is your birth number.

#1 THE ORIGINATOR
#2 THE PEACEMAKER
#3 THE LIFE OF THE PARTY
#4 THE CONSERVATIVE
#5 THE NONCONFORMIST
#6 THE ROMANTIC
#7 THE INTELLECTUAL
#8 THE BIG SHOT
#9 THE PERFORMER

EXPLANATIONS:

1 THE ORIGINATOR
1's are originals. Coming up with new ideas and executing them is natural. Having things their own way is another trait that gets them as being stubborn and arrogant. 1's are extremely honest and do well to learn some diplomacy skills. They like to take the initiative and are often leaders or bosses, as they like to be the best. Being self-employed is definitely helpful for them. Lesson to learn: Others' ideas might be just as good or better and to stay open minded.

Famous 1's: Tom Hanks, Robert Redford, Hulk Hogan, Carol rnett, Wynona Judd, Nancy Reagan, Raquel Welch.

2 THE PEACEMAKER
2's are the born diplomats. They are aware of others' needs and moods and often think of others before themselves. Naturally analytical and very intuitive they don't like to be alone. Friendship and companionship is very important and can lead them to be successful in life, but on the other hand they'd rather be alone than in an uncomfortable relationship. Being naturally shy they should learn to boost their self-esteem and express themselves freely and seize the moment and not put things off.

Famous 2's: President Bill Clinton, Madonna, Whoopi Goldberg, Thomas Edison, Wolfgang Amadeus, Mozart.

3 THE LIFE OF THE PARTY
3's are idealists. They are very creative, social, charming, romantic, easygoing. They start many things, but don't always see them through. They like others to be happy and go to great lengths to achieve it. They are very popular and idealistic. They should learn to see the world from a more realistic point of view.

Famous 3's: Alan Alda, Ann Landers, Bill Cosby, Melanie Griffith, Salvador Dali, Jodi Foster, GMA <<i calculated this myself

4 THE CONSERVATIVE
4's are sensible and traditional. They like order and routine. They only act when they fully understand what they are expected to do. They like getting their hands dirty and working hard. They are attracted to the outdoors and feel an affinity with nature. They are prepared to wait and can be stubborn and persistent. They should learn to be more flexible and to be nice to themselves.

Famous 4's: Neil Diamond, Margaret Thatcher, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tina Turner, Paul Hogan, Oprah Winfrey.

5 THE NONCONFORMIST
5's are the explorers. Their natural curiosity, risk taking, and enthusiasm often land them in hot water. They need diversity, and don't like to be stuck in a rut. The whole world is their school and they see a learning possibility in every situation. The questions never stop. They are well advised to look before they take action and make sure they have all the facts before jumping to conclusions.

Famous 5's: Abraham Lincoln, Charlotte Bronte, Jessica Walter, Vincent Van Gogh, Bette Midler, Helen Keller and Mark Hamil.

6 THE ROMANTIC
6's are idealistic and need to feel useful to be happy. A strong family connection is important to them. Their actions influence their decisions. They have a strong urge to take care of others and to help. They are very loyal and make great teachers. They like art or music. They make loyal friends who take the friendship seriously. 6's should learn to differentiate between what they can change and what they cannot.

Famous 6's: Albert Einstein, Jane Seymour, John Denver, Meryl Streep,
Christopher Columbus, Goldie Hawn.

7 THE INTELLECTUAL
7's are the searchers. Always probing for hidden information, they find it difficult to accept things at face value. Emotions don't sway their decisions. Questioning everything in life, they don't like to be questioned themselves. They're never off to a fast start, and their motto is slow and steady wins the race. They come across as philosophers and being very knowledgeable, and sometimes as loners. They are technically inclined and make great researchers uncovering information. They like secrets. They live in their own world and should learn what is acceptable and what not in the world at large.

Famous 7's: William Shakespeare, Lucille Ball, Michael Jackson, Joan Baez, Princess Diana.

8 THE BIG SHOT
8's are the problem solvers. They are professional, blunt and to the point, have good judgment and are decisive. They have grand plans and like to live the good life. They take charge of people. They view people objectively. They let you know in no uncertain terms that they are the boss. They should learn to exude their decisions on their own needs rather than on what others want.

Famous 8's: Edgar Cayce, Barbara Streisand, George Harrison, Jane Fonda, Pablo Picasso, Aretha Franklin, Nostrodamus.

9 THE PERFORMER
9's are natural entertainers. They are very caring and generous, giving away their last dollar to help. With their charm, they have no problem making friends and nobody is a stranger to them. They have so many different personalities that people around them have a hard time understanding them. They are like chameleons, ever changing and blending in.

so i got a six? how lame? if you read the word romantic, it's somehow disgusting...but i guess in the explanations it's not really the kind of romantic i and maybe you too are thinking of...lol...i really consider more of the intellectual...
